Pathology instruction is fully integrated within the Cellular and Systemic Disease States modules, working in close coordination with Medical Microbiology and Pharmacology, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of disease processes.
In addition to its academic and research contributions, the department provides essential diagnostic and clinical consultative services that support patient care across the hospital and the wider community.
The Department of Pathology is located on the ground floor of the Emergency Building at JIMSH- North Kolkata, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching, diagnostics, and research.
